Hab hier auf einer Kiste aus Kompatibilitätsgründen ActivePerl v5.8.7 built for MSWin32-x86-multi-thread und möchte das auch nicht upgraden.
Leider ist da nur das alte ppm für die Kommandozeile dabei.

Kennt jemand eine Möglichkeit, für diese Perl Version das neue ppm mit grafischer Oberfläche nachzurüsten? Oder würde das nicht zusammenpassen?

Du kannst höchstens mal versuchen, ob es PPM im ActiveState-Repository gibt.

Ich persönlich bevorzuge aber die Kommandozeile. Die läuft insgesamt "geschmeidiger". Mit der GUI hatte ich hin und wieder Probleme mit RAM etc (wobei das auch ein nicht so gut bestückter Rechner war).
